UNITED STATES INVESTING CHAMPIONSHIP

The minimum account size is $20,000. (If you use less than $20,000, your profit will be divided by $20,000 to determine your percentage increase.) There are two divisions, stock, and enhanced growth. Accounts with futures or long option positions are placed in the enhanced growth division. All other accounts are placed in the stock division. In the stock division, you are allowed to hold everything other than futures and long option positions. You can go long or short, use leverage, trade ETFs, foreign stocks, and write options.

HOW TO SIGN UP

To enter the 2026 competition, click on the “SIGN UP HERE” button. As long as you enter before January 2, 2026, your starting value will be your account value as of the close on December 31, 2025. You do not need to close open positions. If you enter after January 2, 2026, you will need to email to normanz@earthlink.net a photo or print screen of your account value as of the close on the day you enter. That will be your starting value for percentage increase computation purposes.

MONEY MANAGER VERIFIED RATINGS

This competition is designed for traders who are managing money but would like to manage a lot more. The minimum account size is $1 million. It is possible to enter with less than $1 million. If you do so and do not add money, your profit will be divided by $1 million to determine your percentage increase.

HOW TO SIGN UP

The procedure is the same as that for the United States Investing Championship described above, except that you click on the MMVR link and pay $1,000. As long as you enter before January 2, 2026, your starting value will be your account value as of the close on December 31, 2025. If you enter after January 2, 2026, you will need to email to normanz@earthlink.net a photo or print screen of your account value as of the close on the day you enter. That will be your starting value for percentage increase computation purposes.

ADVANTAGES

By doing very well in one competition, or reasonably well in several competitions, you will become internationally recognized. That will enable you to raise substantial funds on your own, work for a hedge fund, or otherwise use your documented ability to make potentially hundreds of millions of dollars. He was on the cover of Barron’s and featured in Barron’s multiple times. When Bruno Combier did well years ago, he was on the front page of virtually every major publication in France.
